Important Information Regarding Council Meetings:

In the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, Palmetto Bay will be conducting meetings virtually in the manner described below:

  • Council Meetings

    will be conducted virtually until further notice.  Meetings will be streamed live online, on WBAY and on Facebook. Specific meeting information will be posted online as usual in the Meeting Notice page and agendas will be posted online in the Meeting Agendas page.  
  • Public Comments

    : Public Comments are to be submitted online using our Public Comments Form.  
    • Public comment forms received before the meeting start time will be read with the corresponding agenda item number during the meeting.
    • Public comment forms received after the meeting start time will be read at the end of the meeting.

Notice About Virtual Meetings

Executive Order No. 20-69 issued by Florida Governor DeSantis, as extended by Executive Order 20-139Executive Order 20-150 and Executive Order 20-179 allows for virtual meetings to be held by local governments in an effort to limit public exposure to the COVID-19 virus.

Most meetings of the Village Council are held at the Palmetto Bay Municipal Center located at 9705 E. Hibiscus Street. Any meeting may be opened and continued and, under such circumstances, additional legal notice would not be provided. Any person may contact the Village Hall at 305-259-1234 or the Village Clerk for further information.


:  In accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act and Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act, information posted on this website must be made available to all members of the public, regardless of sensory disabilities.  Documents posted on this website must be readable by a computer device.  Certain PDF documents, photos and plans may not be converted to a readable format in compliance with accessibility laws.  Consequently, documents that are part of an agenda and cannot be made readable can no longer be uploaded to the website.  However, the documents are still open and available to the public, either by visiting Village Hall at 9705 E. Please adhere to Village Code 2-45 concerning Decorum: All speakers must address their remarks to the mayor, speak in a dignified and courteous manner, and avoid admonishing individual members of the public, council and representatives of the village. Should a member of the audience become unruly or behave in an improper manner that is prejudicial to the dignified conduct of the meeting, the mayor shall have the power to require the person to leave the meeting and to be accompanied, if necessary, by a police officer. In the event the audience becomes unruly the mayor may either recess or adjourn the meeting.
