Independence Day 2018

Here's a video recap of our 2017 Independence Day Celebration.  Enjoy!

5th Annual Independence Day Celebration

On this 4th of July, Palmetto Bay residents, friends and neighbors come together to celebrate America's 241st  Birthday on a grand scale from 6 pm-9 pm at Village Hall. The Village will ring in Independence Day with patriotic spirit and pride in a day filled with wholesome, all-American fun for the entire family! The big moment--- an explosive 15-minute fireworks show synchronized to music, launched from Palmetto Bay Park, happens at 9:00 pm. This event is FREE to the public.

“This is our 5th year hosting Independence Day right here in our Village  With the support of Miami-Dade County Cultural Affairs and the Cultural Affairs Council, the Miami-Dade County Mayor and Board of County Commissioners, the Village was able to secure great street entertainment and live bands,” said Mayor Eugene Flinn.

There will also be face painting, stilt walkers, live bands, an artist/craft area, LED robots and a free kid's fun zone with inflatables and amusement rides—something for everyone in the family.
