Let's hear it for Mangowood Estates! Their residents received congratulations and a proclamation from Mayor Cunningham and Council on July 4th for serving as models of pride and patriotism of our great country.
Accepting the honor was Mr. George Tabor, a long-time resident of the Mangowood community, and a former veteran. We thank Mr. Tabor for his service. Currently, he serves as Board Member to the Mangowood Estates Citizens Association (MECA).
Each year since 2007 , MECA holds an Independence Day Ceremony that even includes a military flyover. Mangowood is a prime example of what gives Palmetto Bay a sense of community and pride. We salute you!
