About the Department of Planning and Zoning
The Department of Planning & Zoning, formerly a part of Planning, Zoning & Building Services, is comprised of two divisions including Planning & Zoning and Code Compliance.
- The Planning & Zoning Division is responsible for providing technically sound and professional recommendations to ensure strict adherence to the Village’s Land Development Code, Comprehensive Plan, and any other concurrency regulations and for the efficient and timely processing of zoning applications.
- The Code Compliance Division is responsible for educating the public on the Village’s code enforcement regulations and enforcing those regulations in our residential and business areas.
