Happy Birthday, Palmetto Bay!
PALMETTO BAY, FL, Sept. 15 2012 -- Thank you to all who joined us Friday evening, Sept. 14, to toast Palmetto Bay's 10th Anniversary. The event exceeded all expectations -- attendance, excitement, and fundraising dollars -- as more than 250 guests and dignitaries celebrated our past and bright future ahead. Big thanks to our sponsors, too! See coverage in The Miami Herald and a our photo album on the Village Facebook.
The event doubled as a fundraiser for our local public schools, and featured Emcee Jim Berry, Sports Anchor for CBS4 News. He introduced several honored guests, including Miami-Dade Deputy Chief of Staff Alex Ferro and School Board Vice Chair Lawrence Feldman. Ticket sale proceeds (50%) will go toward Palmetto Bay's public schools -- a figure that is projected to well exceed $6,000.

We are especially gratified by the enthusiastic show of support among our community sponsors. Their generous donations are making it possible to provide a very special night for everyone.
