REGULAR COUNCIL MEETING
Tuesday, September 8, 2015 - 7:00 pm (to follow Budget hearing)

The Village of Palmetto Bay shall be conducting a Regular Council meeting on Tuesday, September 8, 2015, at approximately 7:00 pm. The meeting shall be held at the Village Hall Chambers, 9705 E. Hibiscus Street, Palmetto Bay, FL 33157. 

The following Ordinance shall be heard on second reading.  A public hearing shall be held on this matter:

Councilmember Tim Schaffer has called a meeting with Vice Mayor John DuBois to discuss matters concerning the Fiscal Year 2015-16 Proposed Operating & Capital Budget.  Other members of the Council may be in attendance and may speak on items discussed.

Downtown Redevelopment Task Force Meetings

The Downtown Redevelopment Task Force (DRTF) encourages homeowner associations and/or other civic groups to obtain accurate, up-to-date information about the downtown redevelopment initiative in Palmetto Bay by scheduling a “roadshow” presentation by Village staff and Task Force members. The DRTF, an advisory group organized by the Village Manager in early 2013, is comprised of 40 neighbors and professionals. They are working to set the foundation for a live/work/play Downtown District along US-1 in the Village's southwest corner, while preserving the fundamentally residential nature of Palmetto Bay.

At this time, there are no future meetings scheduled.
