Mosaic at Park View Building . . .
A wonderfully unique glass and marble-tile mosaic has been integrated directly with the building architecture of the new concession facility at Coral Reef Park – the first piece to be introduced in the community as part of our Art in Public Places program. See photos on Facebook.

Expect Old Cutler Detours . . .
A portion of Old Cutler Road
is closed July 29 - Aug. 11 for construction of the Deering Estate Flow-way Project, part of a larger plan to restore Biscayne Bay. See detour details, project drawings, and a Village press release.

Crowning Moment . . .
Construction workers set in place the signature blue dome of our new Village Hall. The 1,500-pound fiberglass structure is a major milestone in the municipal center project, to be completed by November.

Police Get Byrne Grant . . .
Village Council recently OK'd use of a $44,670 Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grant to support the purchase of equipment for the Village Policing Unit's various community outreach programs, such as rad/KIDS (at left).
