About the Park
Ludovici Park is a quiet and charming oasis, a perfect venue for musical performances, to enjoy a library book – all at once! With its meandering walkways, shaded gazebo, and manicured gardens, this park offers something for everyone. The main feature is the 5,000-square-foot Palmetto Bay Branch Library, which is complemented by the Edward & Arlene Feller Community Room and Amphitheater. The 2,000-square-foot, two-story Community Room offers ample meeting space overlooking the beautiful blue waters of Biscayne Bay . The first-story amphitheater features dramatic space for special performances and serves as an additional outdoor area for lectures, workshops, and children’s activities.
Ludovici Park is the perfect venue to host a small party, a musical performance, or a successful community fundraiser event. Park facilities available for rent include:
- Gazebo
- Green Grass area(s)
- Amphitheater
- EAF Community Room (2nd floor, view of Biscayne Bay)*

The Edward & Arlene Feller Community Room (EAF, pictured above) is available to nonprofit/charitable organizations and community groups seeking free use of a meeting facility through administrative waiver of rental fees (see Ordinance 2012-12). For information, availability, or a waiver-form application, please contact us e-mail or by calling the Parks division at 305-259-1234.
Within a short distance from the Ludovici Park site is another very popular Village park: Thalatta Estate. This park features a historically-significant house (the Thalatta Estate) and unobstructed views of Biscayne Bay -- with all the private party amenities you need to host a beautiful wedding or other special events. Ludovici Park and Thalatta Estate Park are connected to each other via the historic Old Cutler Road trail, and both feature recreational trails within the property.
