About Speed Tables

Speed tables discourage speeding on neighborhood streets.  Palmetto Bay has a program which allows homeowners to experience the efficiency of speed tables in reducing speeding by first applying for a temporary speed table that is installed for a 90-day "trial" period.  If the road meets certain criteria, permanent speed tables may be installed provided that homeowners along the road are amenable to the idea.  

Upcoming Approved Permanent Speed Tables

Funding is allocated each year for the purpose of mitigating traffic and speeding concerns in the Village, which includes the installation of speed tables.  Click on the link below to read Resolution No. 2019-83 which authorizes 23 new locations for permanent speed tables in the Village.  A list of the locations is also included below.
