Construction Schedule

The project is currently in the design phase.  Construction is anticipated to begin during the latter part of 2022*
*The start and end dates of the work may be significantly impacted by labor and material shortages associated with the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and potential weather events during the hurricane season.

Methodology & Efforts

Miami-Dade County is making all efforts to minimize the impact from the construction activities to area residents, schools, businesses and motorists.  The area will be restored to its original condition immediately upon completion of the construction activities.  The restoration activities will address any areas impacted by the project, such as grassy areas, sidewalks and other items affected by the construction.
