Shading Palmetto Bay 2021

About Shading Palmetto Bay 2021

Palmetto Bay has received funding through the Neat Streets Miami’s Street Tree Matching Grant Program, to plant trees at your home. One or more of the 2 shade providing species listed will be planted in the swale areas during June 2021. This year’s project is titled “Shading Palmetto Bay 2021”, which encompasses the goal of the program and of Palmetto Bay to provide increased canopy to sidewalk patrons.

Our goal with these grant funds is to plant 34 Florida native and/or Florida-friendly trees throughout different areas in the Village to help rebuild our tree inventory.  The Village will be planting a combination of Green Buttonwood and Paradise Trees along the swales.  Scroll down to see the preliminary locations and map link.
