Spend Your Summer in the "Village of Parks"
This year, Palmetto Bay is once again offering the regular Summer Camp program AND the popular Tennis Camp Program.
More details and information on each camp program are provided below, along with the online registration and payment links.

radKIDS Personal Empowerment Safety Education
The Village of Palmetto Bay Policing Unit and the Parks and Recreation Department are bringing the radKIDS personal empowerment safety education to Palmetto Bay. The radKIDS program offers a skill-based curriculum designed to enhance children's critical thinking abilities and physical resistance skills and providing children the opportunity to recognize, avoid, resist, and if necessary, escape violence or harm.
Two sessions are scheduled as follows for kids ages 5-12:
Session 1
June 26th - 30th (daily)*
10 am to 12 pm
Session 2
July 10th - 14th (daily)*
10 am to 12 pm
*Participation in all days of the session is mandatory.
Both sessions will be held at the Coral Reef Elementary School cafeteria located at 7955 SW 152nd Street, Palmetto Bay, FL 33157.

Summer Camp 2023
START DATE: June 12, 2023
END DATE: July 28, 2023
CAMP HOURS: 8 AM TO 6 PM, MONDAY TO FRIDAY
NOTE: There will be NO Summer Camp no Monday, June 19th in observance of Juneteenth Day and on Tuesday, July 4th in observance of Independence Day.
Our Summer Camp program is available to children between the ages of 5 and 12. There are lots of fun activities planned, including weekly field trips.
CALENDAR OF ACTIVITIES- JUNE & JULY
You can register your child or children for all camp weeks, or just for select weeks. Regardless of the number of weeks, you only need to complete the registration form once. If you decide to include additional weeks for your child or children, you will only have to complete the payment form. Please know that your spot is not guaranteed until payment has been received.
The weekly cost for the camp is $195 which includes fieldtrips and snacks. Planned programs include arts and crafts, outdoor sports activities, indoor games and movies, weekly field trips, water games , RADkids self-empowerment class, and more! Click the image to the left for a larger view.
Tennis Summer Camp 2023
START DATE: June 12, 2023
END DATE: August 4, 2023
CAMP HOURS: 9 AM to 12 PM, MONDAY TO FRIDAY
BEGINNER TO INTERMEDIATE LEVELS
NOTE: There will be NO Summer Camp on Monday, June 19th in observance of Juneteenth Day and on Tuesday, July 4th in observance of Independence Day.
Our popular Tennis Summer Camp is a specialty camp geared to those who want to lean more about tennis, or simply enjoy playing. The camp is open for children between the ages of 7 and 17. Please note that this camp is not a full day camp and that the maximum number of campers allowed per week is 40. Spots will be filled on a first-come, first-serve basis. Please note that your child's spot is not guaranteed until payment has been received.
The weekly cost for the tennis camp is $150 per participant and the daily rate, when available, is $35 per participant. Here's the daily program of activities for the tennis camp:
Daily Program Activities:
9 - 9:15 am- Drop off
9:15 - 11:55 am- Stretching, warm-ups, drills, skill instruction, games and activities
12 pm - Dismissal
Campers are required to bring a water bottle, facial covering and a tennis racket.

Camp Drop-off and Pick-Up Procedures and Map
Regular Summer Camp Drop-off and Pick-Up Procedures
- Regular Summer Camp Drop Off and Pick-Up will be inside Coral Reef Elementary School's cafeteria.
- Parents must walk campers inside and sign them in daily. For pick-up ID is required, and only those on the authorized pick-up list will be allowed to pick-up campers.
Tennis Summer Camp Drop-off and Pick-up Procedures
- Tennis Summer Camp Drop Off will be at Coral Reef Park, Curve-Side. Staff will greet parents and campers by curve-side and check campers in.
- Pick-up will be outside court #1. For pick-up ID is required, and only those on the authorized pick-up list will be allowed to pick-up campers.
