Earth Day 2022

April is "Earth Month" in Palmetto Bay and We Celebrate in a BIG Way!

Join us in celebrating “Planet Earth” not just for ONE day but, for a series of days with events and activities throughout the month of April. There is something for everyone, while enjoying nature and the outdoors in a fun and safe manner.

We kicked off the Earth Day series with the Earth Day Art Contest 2022.  Online submissions from students attending  a middle school in Palmetto Bay were accepted through February 25, 2022 and the 2022 Earth Day Art Contest Winner is Jahlil Heath.  Click here to see Jahlil's winning artwork.  The winning school and student will be honored with a ceremonial tree planting on school grounds.  The winner will receive a prize and a Certificate of Appreciation will be presented to the student and art teacher.
