Tiffany Graver-Smith

As a founding member of The SEED School of Miami– South Florida’s first and only tuition-free, college-prep boarding school for our community’s most vulnerable children – Tiffany Graver-Smith has been instrumental in grassroot start-up operations and processes for the school’s advancement efforts. 
 
 Over the last eight years, Tiffany is the Development Director, and plays a critical role in helping to secure millions of dollars for SEED’s programmatic and capital campaign fundraising efforts. As such, SEED Miami has built three dormitories where students live, learn, and are provided with critical wraparound health services to enhance their academic experience. 100 percent of their founding class was accepted into 2- or 4-year collegiate programs. The Class of 2022 is already shattering records and gearing up for college. College-exposure opportunities, supplies and curriculum materials, mental-health services, and a place to call home and more, are all supported through generous donors who work with Tiffany to invest in SEED’s mission and children. 
 
 Tiffany has made meaningful connections with students and families that go beyond her role as Development Director. The story of Michael, one of SEED Miami’s “founding” students, demonstrates the complex web of obstacles SEED students face. During the summer of 2015, one of his two younger brothers was struck by a vehicle and killed outside of his home. Within 24-hours, Tiffany was able to secure funds to cover funeral costs, food and clothes for the family. Likewise, it’s no surprise to witness students having lunch with “Mrs. Tiffany” and she has proven to be a “go-to” during their times of need. 

Through her relationship with the Anthony R. Abraham Foundation, she secured Publix gift cards for all SEED families, including full Thanksgiving meals from Feeding South Florida and the Ed Reed Foundation. Additionally, Tiffany has expanded SEED’s partnerships in the community and beyond to provide unique experiences for students and families such as: AileyCamp, Buffalo Cove Outdoor Education Center in North Carolina, the Miami Heat, Carnival Cruise Line, Everglades Foundation, and more.
