A Big Thank You!

Thank you to all residents who came out to celebrate our Independence Day.  Not only were we celebrating America's birthday, but we were also celebrating the great community of Palmetto Bay, and our 20th Anniversary.  We also thank County Mayor Cava, County Commissioner Cohen Higgins, School Board Member Santos, Cutler Bay Mayor Meerbott and Councilwoman Lord for your support!  We are proud that you were part of our celebration.  Thank you also to our event sponsors and congratulations to our Student Photography Contest Winner Jonathan Gutierrez of Coral Reef Elementary and Scavenger Hunt Winners Maryann Olaguibel & Douglas Reese.  It was an event to remember as we shared and celebrated together again!   Thank you Mayor & Council for supporting community events, and to our Parks & Rec. staff and Policing Unit for making it all happen safely!

This Is Our Idea of Fun!

Our Independence Day Celebration is back and it's better than ever! This year, we are launching our July 4th Celebration for the first time in two years due to COVID, and this year we are celebrating in a big way because it is also the Village's 20th year anniversary!

Enjoy live music, laser lights and street entertainment throughout the evening! Plus, there will be plenty of food vendors to delight your taste buds, craft vendors and a BEER GARDEN! We even have a separate toddler zone for the littlest ones in the family. Our FIREWORKS EXTRAVAGANZA starts at 9 p.m.

7th Annual Independence Day Celebration

On this 4th of July, Palmetto Bay residents, friends and neighbors come together to celebrate America's 245th  Birthday on a grand scale from 6 pm - 9 pm at Village Hall. The Village will ring in Independence Day with patriotic spirit and pride in a day filled with wholesome, all-American fun for the entire family! 

The big moment--- an explosive 15-minute fireworks show to music, launched from Palmetto Bay Park, happens at 9:00 pm. This event is FREE to the public.

EVENT TIME: 6 - 9 pm
FIREWORKS LAUNCH: 9:00 pm
LOCATION:  Village Hall (9705 East Hibiscus Street)

There will be plenty of fun activities in the hours leading up to the fireworks show so, be sure to come out early at 5:30 pm to get a good viewing spot and enjoy food/beverage (ID required for alcohol purchase) served by several different food vendors. There will also be face painting, stilt walkers, live bands, LED robots and a free toddler fun zone with inflatables —something for everyone in the family.
