Safety Rules & Reminders
DO consider riding your bicycle and parking in our designated bike lot. EVENT SITE MAP COMING SOON
DO use a bicycle light
DO consider public transportation, other means of transportation (Uber, Lyft) or satellite parking at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary - St. Richard Catholic School 18455 Franjo Road, Palmetto Station Parking Garage and Palmetto Bay Park.
DO come early to secure a good parking spot.
DO listen for lightning warnings from Palmetto Bay Park (if siren sounds, take cover).
DO bring a beach blanket, comfortable beach chairs, and umbrellas.
DO bring cash, not all vendors accept cards.
DO support local businesses/vendors.
DON'T bring your own grill or other cooking apparatuses with open flames.
DON'T bring your own fireworks and firecrackers.
DON'T wear dark clothes if you are walking or riding to the event.
DON'T worry about bringing beer or alcohol as vendors will be serving (ID required).
DON'T bring pets – they get agitated by crowds and fireworks.
DON'T forget sunscreen.
DON'T forget bug spray (although viewing area will be treated beforehand).
DON'T forget an umbrella in Mother Nature decides to make rain.
DON'T forget to clean up after yourself.
DON'T bring skateboards, scooters or roller blades
