PARK OPERATIONS UPDATE RELATED TO COVID-19
All Village parks are now open under certain guidelines and restrictions, including the requirement for patrons to use facial coverings and observe social distancing guidelines. Parking areas are limited to a 25% capacity in accordance with County Emergency Order 21-20, Amendment 3 and by county order, dogs in dog parks are to be "leashed in all areas of the park."
Open activities at Village parks as applicable include, walking, jogging, cycling, skating, nature walks on trails, and sports skills practice and drills in groups of less than 10. Youth sports and programming of no more than 10 athletes/ participants and other personnel for skills and drills only with adequate spacing is also allowed. All amenities at the parks are open except for playgrounds, exercise equipment and picnic shelters/pavilions. Field lighting will remain off and water fountains will remain out of service. Restrooms are open and available for use by one person or one family at a time.
MODIFIED PARK HOURS ARE AS FOLLOWS:
- Coral Reef Park: Monday to Sunday; 7 am to 8 pm
- Palmetto Bay Park: Monday to Sunday; 7 am to 8 pm
- Perrine Wayside (dog) Park: Monday to Sunday; 8 am to Sundown (except for the 2nd & 4th Tuesdays monthly when the park will open at noon)
- Ludovici Park: Hours to match library hours*
- Thalatta Estate Park: Sunday to Thursday; 8 am to 5 pm and Friday to Saturday from 9 am to 2 pm.
