Below is a short description for each one of the most popular fitness programs that are part of the "Get Fit Palmetto Bay 2017" program, along with location information.
Yoga by the Bay Thalatta Estate Park | Sundays | 9:30 - 11am | FREE
Gentle Yoga will explore a variety of breathing, energizing, restorative, meditation, and relaxation practices. Ages 15+ and ALL levels welcome. Bring your own yoga mat and water bottle. Register online.
Baptist Health Old Cutler Run Club Locations Vary | Sundays | 4pm | FREE
Join our family-friendly run club every Sunday, rain or shine, at various locations within our three neighboring cities of Palmetto Bay, Pinecrest and Cutler Bay. Participants are separated into groups led by Pineapple Pacers before heading out for a scenic 5K run along Old Cutler Road, with shorter distances for the little ones. Baptist Health Community Exercise Classes All classes are FREE and advanced registration is NOT required.
Stretch & Relaxation: Use elements of Pilates and dance to stretch muscles and strengthen the core. Coral Reef Park: Mondays- 9:30 - 10:30am
Palmetto Bay Park: Wednesdays & Fridays: 9:30 - 10:30 am
Cardio Pump: High intensity, low impact aerobics class emphasizing cardiovascular fitness and coordination. Coral Reef Park: Tuesdays: 11am - 12pm
Trim & Fit: This class combines the benefits of aerobic exercise and strength training for a complete calorie-torching workout. Coral Reef Park: Tuesdays & Thursdays: 12- 1pm
Yoga Pilates Fusion: This class combines the practices of Pilates and Yoga to help you build strength, lose weight and increase flexibility, all while having a great time doing it! The class is designed for folks who want the mind-body benefits of Yoga and a Pilates-inspired workout. Coral Reef Park: Wednesdays: 9-10am
Zumba Gold: Join the party! A fun and effective total body workout for people of all ages and fitness levels. Coral Reef Park: Wednesdays: 10 - 11am
Dance Aerobics: This class will keep you fit and trim using dance elements. Coral Reef Park: Thursdays: 11am - 12pm
