Zoning Hearing Application Process

You may submit your Planning and Zoning application in one of two ways; by dropping off the completed application in person at Village Hall, 9705 E. Hibiscus Street, Palmetto Bay, FL 33157, or transmitting the form via email.  If submitting via email, please make sure to follow the process indicated below.  

Process for Email Submittal:

Applicant’s who wish to submit a new zoning application via email may do so by following the steps provided below:

A.  Send an email request to the Community & Economic Development Department. The email must contain the following information:

  1. Property Folio #
  2. Property/ Site Address
  3. Intent of development or zoning request
  4. Applicant's name & contact information, including a mobile number

B.  Applicants will receive a confirmation email with any other relevant information or steps to follow.  If you need to meet in person with our Planning and Zoning staff, you can make an appointment online (see below.)

Making an Online Appointment

You can make your appointment online with our Planning & Zoning Department to schedule a meeting with our staff.  Please click the blue box below to access the appointment system.  The appointment module shows all available dates and times for your convenience. Once the appointment is made, you will receive a confirmation via text or email, depending on the contact information that you provide or that is required. Registration is not required to use the service.

Public Records Disclosure: Florida has very broad public records laws. Most written communications to or from local officials regarding official business are public records available to the public and media upon request.
