Coral Reef Drive Project Update- 7/20/17
SR 992/Coral Reef Drive/SW 152 Street from SR 821/HEFT/Florida’s Turnpike to SR 5/US 1/South Dixie Highway
UPCOMING TRAFFIC PATTERN CHANGE: On Wednesday morning, July 26 (Thursday, July 27 and Friday, July 28 are alternate dates) all traffic on SW 152 Street/Coral Reef Drive from just west of SW 93 Avenue to just west of SW 97 Avenue will be shifted to the north side of the roadway. The westbound and eastbound travel lanes will be reduced to one lane in each direction and shifted to the northside of the roadway. This traffic pattern will be in effect for approximately five weeks to allow the contractor to repair the south section of the bridge over the C-100 Canal.
Friday, July 21 through Friday, August 4 – There will be alternating single lane closures on Coral Reef Drive/SW 152 Street from US-1 to Florida’s Turnpike between the hours of 9 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. and 9 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. to allow the contractor to reconstruct sections of sidewalks and pedestrian ramps.
Drivers are encouraged to call 511 before they travel or log on to www.fl511.com to get real-time traffic and lane closure information. FDOT would like to remind drivers that wearing a safety belt is the single most effective way to protect people and reduce fatalities in motor vehicle crashes. Please drive cautiously in construction zones.
