The purpose of this survey is to determine what services residents want to see in a potential community center as part of a feasibility study ordered by the Council, through the adoption of Resolution No. 2018-06. That information will allow the consultant to come up with possible construction, operations and maintenance costs so that the Council may decide whether a community center is even feasible. The information requested as part of this survey allows the consultant to identify the type of services that are needed and, based on those services, the appropriate size of the center. The construction, operations and maintenance information derives from that data. The information to be presented in the feasibility study is what residents have been inquiring about so that they can decide whether they wish to move forward with a community center. The survey is a continuation of the community workshop that was held on April 5, 2018, during which the consultant asked for the same information from the attendees. In an effort to reach a wider audience, the survey was created so that residents who were unable to attend the workshop still have an opportunity to provide their input.
