Attorney-Client Executive Session ("Village of Palmetto Bay, et al., vs. Miami-Dade County"), Circuit Case No. 2022-003627-CA-01

The Village of Palmetto Bay gives notice that at the request of the Village Attorney, an Attorney-Client Executive Session (“Shade-Session”) will be called regarding the legal action styled: Village of Palmetto Bay, et al, v. Miami-Dade County, Florida, Circuit Case No.: 2022-003627-CA-01. The Village Attorney desires advice from the Village Council regarding settlement negotiations and litigation expenditures.

The Session is to be held on Monday, October 3rd, 2022, at 6:00 p.m. at the Village of Palmetto Bay Municipal Center located at 9705 East Hibiscus Street, Palmetto Bay, FL 33157. The Session will take approximately half an hour. The Regularly Scheduled Council meeting will follow. 

Pursuant to Section 286.011(8), Florida Statutes, the Session will be closed to the public. Present at the Session will be: Mayor Karyn Cunningham, Vice Mayor Leanne Tellam, Councilmember Patrick Fiore, Councilmember Steve Cody, Councilmember Marsha Matson, Village Manager Nick Marano, Village Attorney John C. Dellagloria, Special Council Norman M. Waas and Special Counsel Jessica M. Hernandez.

 A certified court reporter shall record the time and termination of the session, all discussions and proceedings that occur, the names of all persons present at any time during the session and the names of all persons speaking. The transcript shall be made part of the public records upon conclusion of the litigation. All discussion held during the Session is to remain confidential until the conclusion of the litigation.
