Survey of C-100 A Canal Begins Soon

Canal Maintenance Upcoming Announcement with Canal Picture in the background

From September 2022 through March 2023, the South Florida Water Management District will partner with the Village to perform important flood protection work in Palmetto Bay. This includes surveying land to identify and prioritize future work such as structure repairs or vegetation removal. Some homeowners who live along the C-100 A Canal may be impacted by this process.

Residents with homes on or near the canal may be contacted by Woolpert, Inc., the survey company contracted to perform the work. Woolpert staff might need access to your property sometime between 8 a.m.-6 p.m., Monday through Friday. Surveyors will not ask for personal information, do not need to enter homes, and will attempt to alert you of their presence before they begin work.
