HURRICANE PREPAREDNESS: Here's some important information, as we monitor
Tropical Depression #9 of the season which formed this morning and could become a hurricane threat.
๐ It will reach western Cuba as a category 2 hurricane starting Monday night.
๐ It will move northward approaching the Florida Keys by Tuesday afternoon.
๐ Possible entry into Florida from the west coast.
๐ Miami expects rains from Tuesday evening into Wednesday also 25-30 mph winds
If you haven't started already, these are a few things you can do be HURRICANE READY.
๐ Be sure to take inventory, photograph your home’s contents and put important papers and insurance policies in a safe place.
๐ Keep an emergency supply. Non-perishable food, water, batteries, flashlights, manual can opener and a battery-operated radio should be kept available.
๐ Know your evacuation route. Miami-Dade County Emergency Management will order or advise evacuations if conditions warrant this action.
