Chabad of Palmetto Bay & Deering Bay, in partnership with the Village of Palmetto Bay is celebration Tu B'Shvat on Sunday, February 5, 2023 from 10am-12pm at Ludovoci Park. The 15th of Shevat on the Jewish calendar — celebrated this year on Sunday, February 5 — is the day that marks the beginning of a “new year” for trees. Commonly known as Tu BiShvat, this day marks the season in which the earliest-blooming trees in the Land of Israel emerge from their winter sleep and begin a new fruit-bearing cycle. This is a FREE family event and everyone is welcome to attend. There will be spa style activities followed by a tree planting ceremony and display of fresh fruits, snacks, and soft drinks.
