In an effort to help struggling small businesses affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, FPL will soon roll out its Main Street Recovery Credit Program which will provide a 10% credit on the energy charge portion of eligible small businesses. According to a press release issued by FPL, eligible businesses include: - New small businesses
- Small businesses that were inactive for at least six months
- Existing small businesses operating in communities under the Opportunity Zones Program designated by the Florida Department of Economic Opportunity
