District 2 Councilmember Patrick Fiore came to South Florida from Philadelphia in 1990 and moved to Palmetto Bay in 2007.  The small town setting amidst a large urban area with great schools was one of the selling points. He says his role in the dais is to get things done. He says he sees what needs to be done and gets it done. Protecting the neighborhood is the number one concern for our residents and one I feel strongly about too. Five years from now, I would like to see an invigorating commercial downtown area but at the same time for Palmetto Bay to be the bedroom community that it is. Like the Mayor’s Street By Street Initiative, he likes working with the City Manager to get things fixed especially a lot of public works stuff. Here are some of his thoughts and works.
