Congratulations Jahlil Heath and Southwood Middle School for a 6th consecutive win of the Earth Day Art Contest. In recognition of this achievement, the Village held a ceremonial tree planting at the school earlier today, followed by an ice cream party! Mayor Cunningham, School Board Member and Southwood Alumni Santos and Principal Garcia recognized the student and his art teacher, Mrs. Berse, who will be retiring after 16 years at Southwood Middle!
