This is a big year for Palmetto Bay as we update our Comprehensive Plan, which local governments in Florida use as a road map to address the issues their residents care about. For the past few months, the Village has been brainstorming about ways to improve our roads, parks, schools, housing, business districts, and other important focus areas like conservation and sustainability. But we've also gotten plenty of valuable feedback from residents who have shared their own ideas and concerns about topics like traffic, land use, and capital improvements.
Our goal is to finalize the plan by the end of summer, but it's not too late to join the conversation! Do you have thoughts about trees, parking, sidewalks, or school security?
