As Miami-Dade County continues to work on the SW 136th Street bridge over the C100A canal, they have scheduled the deck pour for Wednesday, Sept. 24, 2025, starting at 3 a.m. The Miami-Dade County Public Works Department scheduled the pour at this early time to avoid the morning traffic and to protect the finished product from the heat of the day. Additionally, starting the process early will allow for the bridge deck to be poured in a single operation minimizing the impact to neighboring homes. To avoid any further project delays, both Palmetto Bay and Pinecrest have agreed to the deck pour schedule. Residents who live directly adjacent to the project site will be notified by the contractor or County individually.
