Earth Week Gets the Ladybug Treatment: Teaching youngsters about the importance of environmental conservation, Mayor Cunningham and Councilmember Fiore and our Parks Dept. visited four Village schools on Monday, distributing ladybugs to show preschoolers an alternative to chemical pesticides. The visits included Alexander Montessouri School's Ludlum and Palmetto Bay campuses, Sunrise School of Miami, and Westminster Christian School. Three more schools are scheduled to "bug out" today. Fun and educational!
