[ARCHIVED] Fantastic Turnout

FANTASTIC TURNOUT for our first "Serve with the Mayor/Street-by-Street" Volunteer Day on Saturday.  Folks lent a hand to paint the brick wall along 184th St., and to wash/paint the home of a local veteran. In addition, Mayor Cunningham also welcomed several organizations whose members joined in; Boy Scout Troop 314, The American Legion Post 133, and Christ Fellowship Church. We also appreciate Certa-Pro Painters and Express Pressure Washers who donated their services today. This was the first of what will be quarterly volunteer projects to help residents and beautify Palmetto Bay. To EVERYONE who took the time to help today, a sincere THANK YOU!
