Pursuant to Florida Executive Order 20-52, the Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles has extended the effective period of all driver’s licenses, commercial driver’s licenses, and identification cards which expire between March 16, 2020, and April 30, 2020.
Under this Order, driver’s licenses and identification cards which expired between March 16, 2020, and April 15, 2020, have been extended 60 days from their expiration date. Driver’s licenses and identification cards which expire between April 16, 2020, and April 30, 2020, have been extended 30 days from their expiration date.
Commercial driver’s licenses and commercial driver instructional permits with expiration dates on or after March 16, 2020, have been extended until June 30, 2020. See attached Emergency Order from DHSMV.
