Earlier in the week, the Village decided to pivot to a virtual event in an abundance of caution, based on information provided by the CDC for COVID-19 cases. As part of the overall planning, the Village always considered pivoting to a virtual event if the positivity rate reached the 10% mark in Miami-Dade County. Such was the case this past Monday forcing the Village to switch to its virtual plans to ensure the safety of the residents.
Sponsor donations defrayed 95% of the event costs and the food items will be donated to the Salvation Army.
If you were planning to bring an unwrapped toy for the PBA’s Toys for Tots toy drive, please bring the toy to Village Hall instead. A box will be placed just outside the main entry for your convenience. Toys will be collected through Friday, December 18, 2020.
