UPDATE: County has confirmed that the mosquito spraying took place this morning as scheduled. The Village has received notification that Miami-Dade County will be spraying for mosquitoes in Palmetto Bay on Monday, July 3rd. According to a press release issued by the county, spraying will take place between 12:01 am and 5:30 am. The spraying will address the black salt marsh mosquito, which is considered to be an aggressive biter but not a disease-carrier of major concern.
