Posted on: April 7, 2022[ARCHIVED] Parks & Recreation Master Plan Update is Underway
On January 21st, the Village of Palmetto Bay Parks and Recreation Department met with Mr. Alfredo Sanchez from Bermello Ajamil & Partners for their first meeting of the Parks and Recreation Master Plan Process.
Next step is to meet with elected officials. After that, they will schedule various public meetings to gather resident input.
They will be incorporating resolution items in drawings, images of improvements, and one-on-one meetings with elected officials. A stakeholders meeting will take place with the Parks and Recreation Community Outreach Committee. They will also meet with the Neighborhood Protection Committee, Art-In-Public Places Advisory Board, Tree Advisory Board and the Tennis Center group.
We will keep you up to date with this two year process as it continues to move forward.
