[ARCHIVED] It's Everglades National Foundation Day in Palmetto Bay!

This morning, Mayor Karyn Cunningham gave welcoming remarks to The Everglades Foundation and its members as they began their annual two day retreat right here in our Village!

Since 1993, The Everglades Foundation has worked tirelessly to bring people together and provide a powerful voice for Everglades restoration, helping local, state, and national leaders make well-informed decisions, including the Village of Palmetto Bay.

Mayor Cunningham presented Mr. Erik Eikenburg, Foundation CEO AND Palmetto Bay resident with a Proclamation on behalf of the Mayor & Council.  Most recently, Mr. Eikenberg appeared as a guest panelist at our recent Resiliency Town Hall.

Mayor Cunningham thanked the organization members for their commitment in restoring and protecting the Everglades of Florida, and proclaimed, Wednesday, May 11, 2022, as: THE EVERGLADES FOUNDATION DAY in the Village of Palmetto Bay.
