[ARCHIVED] WASD Working in Your Neighborhood


The Miami-Dade County Water & Sewer Department (WASD) has begun the resurfacing of various areas throughout Palmetto Bay as part of their Pavement Restoration Project. A total of four areas will be restored within the Village of Palmetto Bay and the work is expected to be completed within 12 to 15 days.  The project locations are listed below:

  1. SW 73rd Avenue between SW 136th Street and SW 140th Terrace
  2. SW 144th Terrace and SW 74th Avenue
  3. SW 88th Place and SW 181 Terrace
  4. SW 169th Terrace and SW 91st Avenue

The County’s contractor, Quality Paving Corp. is currently onsite at the first location, which is SW 73rd Avenue South of SW 136th Street. Please use caution when driving around these areas.
