RAISE THE ARTS: Devica Shah, a junior at Palmetto Senior High and member of YCTIF is presenting this dance showcase is an effort to raise money to purchase waterwheels for women in India. In rural villages daughters are burdened with helping their mothers carry heavy pots on their heads which prevents them from going to school. These waterwheels will allow young girls to go back to school to receive an education.
