Today, the American Flood Coalition Florida Mayors met with staff representing Senator Rick Scott, Senator Marco Rubio and Congresswoman Maria Elvira Salazar to discuss many of the issues related to flood mitigation in our communities including, canal and sub-basin infrastructure, the need for efficiency in receiving FEMA dollars and the issue of rising insurance premiums. We look forward to continuing the dialogue with our Federal representatives to bring meaningful solutions to our communities.
