The Comprehensive Plan is a State of Florida regulated document that helps guide land use policies in the Village. The Village is required to review the Comprehensive Plan every 7 years. The purpose of the Comprehensive Plan Update is meet the State mandated amendment requirements while crafting a Comprehensive Plan to reflect the Village of Palmetto Bay. The current Comprehensive Plan was developed from a Miami-Dade County plan and not all objectives and policies directly pertain to Palmetto Bay.
The Community Meeting is intended to be an engaging and interactive with various community input method and activities that encourage dialogue and participation. The outcomes will allow the project team and Village staff to identify key goals for inclusion in the Comprehensive Plan.
