This free course teaches awareness, prevention, risk reduction, and hands-on defense training for women. Classes take place in Village Hall and the course is provided in partnership between the Village of Palmetto Bay and the Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office - Village of Palmetto Bay Municipal District. The course culminates with a dynamic simulation that gives participants the opportunity to use what they have learned in realistic training scenarios against “aggressors” wearing special safety equipment. Join us on July 22, 23, and 24 from 6 pm to 10 pm for this valuable instruction!
