The popularity of metal roofing systems has increased dramatically in the last decade. Metal roofing systems are favored for their longevity and have been widely used with abundant success. However, the Village has been made aware that some metal roof manufactures and/or suppliers may limit their material warranties if they consider that the property is too close to the coastline as the saltwater exposure may cause the material to corrode. Residents are encouraged to inquire about the warranty of their metal roofs before making a final decision and material selection.
