Happy Monday! September and October have proved to be busy months for the Village. Thank you to all the volunteers that joined us at the Street Safety Demonstration project is a part of our Safe Streets Palmetto Bay Action Plan at Coral Reef Elementary and our Deering Point Clean-up in partnership with Keep Florida Clean.
Thank you to the many that have reached out regarding our Executive Session tonight. I know there is a lot of information that is circulating so I wanted to briefly explain the process and what are steps are moving forward.
The Village Council has scheduled an executive (shade) session in accordance with Florida Statute §286.011(8), today at 4 PM, to discuss settlement negotiations and strategy related to our ongoing court-mandated mediation with Luxcom, the property owner involved in pending litigation with the Village of Palmetto Bay.
