2. Program Eligibility Requirements

   

   To receive the one-time reimbursement assistance for the pet adoption fees, the applicant must meet the following criteria:

   • Be a current resident of the Village of Palmetto Bay.
   • Adopt your pet at a Miami-Dade County Animal Services facility, including offsite partner locations and adoption events.

   Applications and support documents will be reviewed by staff upon submission.  Once the documentation has been approved and the waiting period has been satisfied, a reimbursement check will be mailed to the address provided on the online application.  

   Please note that one application is required for each pet adopted from Miami-Dade County Animal Services.

    Please upload the receipt provided by the Miami-Dade County Animal Services showing your name and the adoption fees collected.  A bill dated earlier than July 7, 2025 will not be accepted.
